PATRICE HERBST
A Milwaukee Wisconsin native, Patrice Herbst has called the nearby artistic community of Cedarburg home for over 35 years. Her work has received enormous response and wins constant acclaim for the depth and richness of color and her innovative approach to materials.
Enjoying the challenge of being completely self-taught, Patrice has worked successfully in a wide range of mediums including oils, acrylics, watercolor, colored pencil, charcoal, pastel and mixed media for over 35 years. During this time she has worked in figurative, realism, and abstract styles.  Most recently she has enjoyed a return to the medium of photography. In 2006 Patrice was listed in the "75 Women of Influence in the Visual Arts" by Visual Art Writer Mary Louise Schumacher in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.  Patrice continues to exhibit her work in select shows.
